Inara is short and thin. She has long, unruly hair which is unkempt as her age-worn, tight clinging clothing. The same body fit clothing is what betrays her small size.

Inara has a moderate temper, giving in to it when things are not going her way. She is a zealot who believes eating animals is wrong. She has a rebellious attitude, often merely rebelling just because it comes natural to her. Although disobedience amongst her subordinates infuriates her, it seems she still finds herself going against the 'system'. It is this attitude that has her befriending the wrong people, and bad work ethic which subsequently led to her departure from Coruscant.

History:
Being a part of a poverty-ravaged family living on the bad part of Coruscant is hard for any girl -- even worse for one whose family abandons her. Raised by a father whom was grief-stricken over the death of his wife while birthing twins, she never had any parental attention. When her father was not moping, he was gambling or stealing. Inara and Itaela soon found the truth in the phrase 'a dog-eat-dog world'.
Forced to beg for food, the two girls would find no mercy. It was not until they saw a man stealing did they decide to attempt to do so as well. At first, it was hiding in the shadows and waiting for people to leave their shelters to steal their most small, edible things. Then they started stealing other things than food; jewelry, datapads, and various other items of interest. Anything that was within arm length soon found its way in their pockets.
For years they followed this pattern, until they were caught. As they snuck into what seemed to be an abandoned home, they found out otherwise. The occupant of the home was still there, and upon spotting two frail young ladies in his home, he rushed to apprehend both. Thankfully, he was clumsy and when he grabbed Itaela and attempted to double his booty by attempting to gain Inara as well, she had gotten out of his reach. With a growl, the man lunged again, but only managed to let go of Itaela who dashed away with Inara out the door.
Inara did not remember passing Itaela, but she did remember the scream of her twin sister. Turning, she saw the man picking Itaela off the ground. With a laugh, he looked up to Inara and yelled, "Wait 'til I get you too!". His words seemed to knock the breath out of her and age her by a decade. She suddenly went from sixteen to twenty-six, and it seemed her innocence had passed away with the years.
The unknown replaced her resolve, fear replaced certainty, and cowardice replaced bravery. As she ran to the place she had called home for so long in her life, she concocted a plan to make things better. It was her friendship with two orphans known as Ishara and Xara that finally set her free. Spending her time with those two, Inara seemed much more happier. It only lasted a short bit though before the trio split though...
