Biography:
Born on Budpock to Munro and Vortigen Long in 2 A.B.Y, Kirana Long had high expectations from many people. Her sister went off to become a powerful Dark JedI, while her father was a Captain for the Budpock Naval patrol. Her mother came from a wealthy family that held high power on Budpock and were feared by many lesser peoples.
Kirana grew up a harsh life and rarely listened to her parents. She would go out constantly and hang out with the gangs that commonly walked the streets of Budpock. She was found lots of times in custody, but since her powerful parents held a high reputation, she would easily get out of her actions.
Kirana’s parents were embarrassed by their daughter’s actions and decided that she needed to learn the hard way about why her actions were wrong. After several years, she realized the consequences of her actions and the strain it was making on her family.
At the age of 18, Kirana was hired in the custom offices of Budpock and was made the Branch Manager within one year of her hiring. After several years of hard work, Kirana became the Head of Air Custom Affairs.
At the age of 23, Kirana left her nice, snug position and joined the Budpock Navy. There were only two capitol-sized ships for the Navy, and she happened to be stationed on the one her father was the Commanding Officer of. He was now the Vice Admiral of the Budpock Navy and though many believed he would go easy on his daughter, he in fact was hardest on her.
The Vice Admiral would constantly drill Kirana on tactics and procedures. When she got it wrong, she would find herself with cabin duty. Finally, Kirana got most of the drills down, and would only find herself with cabin duty every other day now. Slowly her Navy mind was sharpening and she found herself with the rank of Lieutenant. Thought the Budpock Navy was created after a small attack on the planet, it rarely saw service.
One day though, a set of pirates attacked the Navy. The Navy quickly surrendered, realizing that they had been defeated. The Pirates used the Budpock fighters for fire practice, but they kept the capitol ship for their own use. Budpock went from bad... to worse.
Awhile later, the Contegorian Confederation came. The men of the Confederation liberated Budpock and thankfully, Budpock joined the Contegorian Confederation. Kirana eagerly joined the Confederation that brought her freedom.
