Di-Lo ( pronounced Die Low) is a former spice smuggler with a knack for Mechanical Engineering . He was born on the planet of Dantooine and abondoned soon after birth .He was taken in by a fledgling Spice dealer and raised in need of some slave labor for his shop . Di-Lo was brought up working as a lacky and as a mechanic for the different machinery for separating the spices .Eventually at the age of 17 he got his first taste of piloting when the cargo ship he was aboard was attacked by a rival Trader as he was forced to take the controls of the ship when the then Pilot was knocked unconscious . Di -Lo had been Piloting since . Only he had a feeling that there was more out there for him . He encountered a Jedi on a planet the day after his 21st birthday , a encounter that changed his life forever . The Jedi was in the wrong place at the right time when Di-Lo was ambushed by the Rival Trader's hired Mercenaries. Needles to say The Jedi saved his life that day dispatching the mercenaries by just destroying their blasters . Since that day he had searched from planet to planet in hopes of one day learning the secrets of the Force and Joining the Jedi as a common Allie....
