"There's a man on the street, a guitar at his back with his pick worn down to the bone."

From the moment Jason Wylde was born, he had rock and roll in his heart. At five years old he had stolen a cooking pot from his mother and some thin wire from his dad, and made himself a guitar. His parents like to say that the first words out of his mouth were "I wanna rock!".

When Jason was enrolled in school, he had to maintain a B average to get and keep lessons to take guitar. He showed great focus in both school and guitar. He got better and better over the progressing years, and at his 3rd year of guitar, his parents bought him an Ibanez Iceman.

The time came for high school, and with 5 years of playing experience, his classes for his 10th year consisted of no important classes. All he took was basic and advanced woodshop, basic and advanced electronics shop, metal shop, architectural design, and all the business classes he could take. His parents were not pleased, and threatened to pull his lessons. Jason responded by getting a job at a local coruscant guitar shop and paid for his lessons himself. This angered his parents even more.

Jason, finding that rebellion felt good, grew his hair out and began writing songs. He built himself a Les Paul out of spare parts around the shop, and the pickups he wanted. His parents were not impressed. Jason dropped out of school after jamming old starship parts in each one of the entrances to the school. His parents kicked him out of the house.

Jason slept in the guitar shop for a few days, earning extra money by helping build guitars. He bought a tablet datapad and started designing guitars on it. He put his drawings on display in the shop, and actually got a request to make one for someone. He made a lot of credits off of that deal and bought an apartment on the level below the shop.

Jason was kicked out of his apartment within the first week. The landlord did not appreciate Jason having three Marshall Full stack amplifiers in his living room. Jason moved back into the shop, and kept working there, getting to work overtime.

When he was working in the custom shop, he overheard his boss talking about a recording studio being up for sale next door. So, Jason went to check this out. Sure enough, there was the old recording studio with a for sale sign in the window and laser locks over the door. Jason wrote down the address and went there the next day. He took all of his credits with him.

Jason scheduled a meeting with the retailer, who told him that the owner had joined the TNO and had not appointed someone to take care of the shop except an R4 unit, which, apparantly, did not qualify as a caregiver.

So, Jason was given the studio for a fraction of the price that they would have posted the next day. Jason moved into that studio, and was suprised to find that it was well stocked. He guessed the owner thought that the droid could run the studio.

He had many modifications to make to it. He took down the sign and sold it to a pawn shop; he redecorated an office into a bedroom, and made the lounge into an area where you can eat.

He was all done, and his life was back in order, he was about 17. He was able to play his guitar again, and he was able to record some stuff. That's what he thought. Late one night, he was asleep in the recording studio, when he woke up to a noise outside. He heard someone at the main door. He got up, and looked out the window. Someone was trying to break in. He opened his safe and grabbed his CDEF pistol. He opened the slit on the door and said, "Can I help you?"

"Yes, get off my property."

"This isn't your property anymore."

"This is my studio."

"Not anymore, you left."

"I left my droid in charge."

"It's not a sufficient caregiver."

He pointed a pistol through the slit at his face, and Jason ducked just before a shot went off. He old owner was trying to kill him. Jason set his blaster for stun, and opened the door quickly. He quickly fired, and blue rings surrounded the foe. The man dropped, and Jason quickly called the authorities. They took him away for life. Jason then got himself a permit to carry his weapon around with him, just in case there were friends of the old owner.

Jason then began to play shows around the underlevels, joining a band called Blasters and Red Flora. Now, they have recorded their debut album Hungry for Assimilation.
