Description:

Born within the Sunyo subterranean cavern on the harsh planet of Atlant, Sesshomaru Sunyo has had a hard upbringing, as is traditional for the first born of a ruling family. Sunyo, which is short for We the Sun God, has been the ruling family of the Atlantean Empire since it's conception many centuries ago. The empire was first created when a human male, a hyperspace explorer as tales rumored him to be, crashed landed upon the surface of the world.

Knowing of the dangerous gamma radiation and novas that the stars in the region were capable of, the man sought shelter in a subterranean ward, and there found the largest living life on the planet, a race of primal dogs that made their living by eating the smaller herbovoric critters of the planet. It was also rumored that the man was known to have a very active libidio and was quite the ladies man. Fearing that he would not leave the planet alive, the man gave in to his urges and took a female dog as his wife, in a manner of speaking.

Her pups were thus half human and half dog, which lead to the race known as the dumans being born. Although being born in the form of pups and retaining some dog like features, they were primarily human in being. These, the first of our kind, took other female dogs as mates, and soon the race expanded to all four corners of the planet.

The original creator and his mate passed away about a century before the dumans took full control of Atlant, as the planet was now to be called, but not before he passed his knowledge along to his children. As it turned out, dumans had about the same mental capacity as a normal human would have. With his knowledge, they built up a great underworld economy, learning over the years to smelt metals, durametals, and then finally work their way into computer technology and starship construction.

Over the years there have been many great Atlanteans that have come and gone, but perhaps none more famous than the prophet Fuku Munyo, who seemed to be born with mystical powers. After learning to harness these powers in her own training, she used them to see far into the future, and foretold a time when the Atlanteans would be forced to leave their homeworld in search of a planet that would bring their dreams of a peaceful above ground world true, a world which would be lush in forests with tall trees, great predators to be hunted, and new friends that would become great allies with the Atlanteans.

Thus, as the Atlanteans settled on other nearby planets to Atlant, they began the construction of ships that would be needed to survive the journey through the great star clusters, to their destined new homeworld.

But, there was one who was too impatient with the progress being made. Inuyasha Sunyo, younger brother to the Sultan of the Atlantean Empire, and prince of the house of Sunyo, departed in a scout ship through the star cluster. Althogh he has not been heard from since, Sesshomaru Sunyo, through their bond, sensed a great torture and agony being inflicted upon his brother.

Although he fears his long lost brother to be dead now, as the time for The Great Journey approaches, Sesshomaru Sunyo will lead his people to their destined homeworld...after which he will find his brother....
