Ember is the type to rush in where angels fear to tread and will leap first rather than think things out. For this reason, she has been labeled as being very, very reckless. Ember also has a hot temper and can become quite argumentative in any conversation she feels threatened or her opinion is not being considered.

History:
Ember’s early life is a blur since her parents seemingly disappeared when she was very young. She was left in the care of a Jedi Master who raised her and took her as his apprentice and bestowed upon Ember the surname of Collinson. What her real last name was or why it was hidden is yet a mystery.
Throughout her childhood, Ember developed a temper which was hard to control. She lashed out at her teachers and fellow students easily and would often become irritated when she felt she was not being listened to. Ember was also the girls who wanted to be at the front of the line at all times and the first one to try anything new.
As the years passed, Ember became fond of her use of a lightsaber and would often focus solely on it, neglecting her other lessons. She became very accomplished with the weapon yet her struggles in mental exercises always hampered her advancement and was often the topic of conversation with her master.
When Ember reached her teens, she acted like a typical teenager and always challenged her master’s decisions, often times in front of others. On several missions, Ember got int o trouble when she would rush into hostile situations without considering the results where her master would always have to bail her out. On one of these missions, Ember came into contact with an insane Nightsister by the name of Lexus. She was exiled by her sisters and clearly exhibited unstable mental conditions. Ember fearlessly confronted her and the two engaged in a heated lightsaber dual. When she was distracted, Lexus drive her light saber through Ember’s chest just as her master arrived. Unconscious, Ember laid motionless as her master engaged Lexus and barely managed to get Ember medical treatment before succumbing to his own injuries.
Not long after Ember’s own recovery, the decision was made to give her to a new master who would attempt to continue her training as a Jedi. Ember was no different in her personality after her near death experience and was just as reckless as before it happened. Time and time again Ember would rush into situations without thinking them through and challenged her new master, even full out arguing with him.
When Ember came into contact with Lexus again, she wanted another shot at the insane woman and the two engaged in their second meeting. Ember fought better than she had the last time they met, but was eventually disarmed. Lexus physically beat Ember to the point she was knocked unconscious by objects thrown her way, striking her in the head. When Ember awoke, her master laid dead next to her and Lexus had seemingly disappeared.
A Fading Ember
Ember, after returning to the temple, was then scrutinized for her actions and a debate ensued over if she should be trained any further. She left Ossus in the hopes of finding her own way elsewhere.
