Brutus Nogoth

Leader of the Galactic Liberation Front

GLF's Hidden Command Center

Bursting onto the galactic scene in a most dramatic way, the name Brutus Nogoth has become synonymous with terrorism in every corner of the galaxy. The architect of the Galactic Liberation Front's emergence as a galactic-wide organization, Nogoth has become one of the most wanted men in the galaxy and the GLF has become a major concern many of the galaxies' governments.

For such a well known and sought after man, little is known of his life before adulthood. Records have been discovered identifying Nogoth's parents, though they contain scant information about his childhood. Brutus' father ran a small cargo shipping business, and his mother is believed to have been involved in that business as well. Death certificates have been issued for both of them. No other documents regarding Brutus's early life are known to exist. In fact, the next references to Brutus Nogoth come from his early adulthood, from Gaqri Agricultural University.

Nogoth attended the prestigious Outer Rim institution, and that experience had a profound effect on his life. GAU has a heavily political campus, and was once a hotbed of anti-Imperial sentiments on Garqi. Though that particular attitude had mellowed somewhat when Brutus attended, the universities atmosphere molded and formed distinct beliefs that continue to the present. Nogoth was active in many activities at the University, but found time to double major- in political science and applied application of higher mathematics.

Though it is unclear when Nogoth founded the GLF, the organization was compeltley unknown until the so called "Change is Coming Attacks" . Those attacks were first wave in a series of assaults, known among the GLF hierarchy as operation Upheaval . To date, Upheaval has resulted in 'successful' incidents on over 25 worlds and done serious damage to a variety of regimes, including the Galactic Empire and Galactic Coalition. It is also widely believed that the strike on Genosis in the initial rounds of Upheaval started the chain reaction that led to the destruction of the Thoalatin Republic.

Though the original attacks hit a variety of governments and targets, it slowly became apparent that the Empire was receiving more and more attention of Nogoth's organization. The Empire responded in a variety of ways to these attacks, including announcing Brutus Nogoth's death and the break-up of the GLF . Their propaganda was proven untrue following another wave of Upheaval attacks , and the Empire acknowledged that Nogoth was alive but claimed The GLF was Bankrupt and publicly dismissed the group as a threat to Imperial power.

Despite this dismisal, the GLF continues to be a thorn in the side of the Empire, and other galactic powers. Brutus Nogoth has not been seen for sometime in one of his video releases, a fact that many governmental officals claim is a sign of the weakness of the GLF. Those who know Nogoth better, and have studied the GLF objectivly realize however that periods of calm are usually a lead up to a major attack. When and where this next attack or attacks will occur is something that many galactic security mangers worry about, whether or not they admit to it or not.
