Physical Description: Humanoid, 5 feet tall with a funnel shaped head.

History -

Vodo is a being descended from Jedi Master Vodo Siosk Baas (Tales of the Jedi Comics/The Jedi Academy novel trilogy). Although he is a descendant of Vodo Siosk Baas, he is slightly different. His species (whom he does not know much of) evolved slightly into a more humanoid form. For example, Vodo Siosk Baas did not have hands, and used pincers instead. His face was also much longer, where Vodo Baas' is not.

After being abandoned on Coruscant as a small child thirty five years before the Clone Wars, he was placed in an orphanage, where he lived until (Vodo's species are extremely long-lived), he was considered "of age". It was then that the orphanage administrators gave to him a small Jedi Holocron, which had been given to the orphanage, along with Vodo.
He then traveled the galaxy, occasionally performing administrative duties for the Republic Army.

During the Clone War, he was stationed on Kamino, coordinating the supply operations for debarking troops when the Seperatists attacked the Clone Centers in a desperate attempt to cut the Republic off from it's army. It was there on Kamino that he encountered a Jedi Apprentice, who recognized his name as that of the ancient Jedi Master. The apprentice told Vodo he could potentially be strong in the Force, but it was much too late to start Jedi training. Before he could ask why, the apprentice was summoned by her master. It was later Vodo heard that she had been killed in the battle.

After the rise of the Empire, Vodo moved to Ithor, where he served as a city administrater on a giant herd ship. The Ithorians believed the surface of the planet was sacred and they would not allow any being to step on the surface. It was there, on the city, that he was given a gift, a staff from a baffor tree. The trees of Ithor were actually living beings, and were considered even more sacred by the Ithorians. Vodo prized the gift above all else.

Twenty years after the Battle of Yavin, Vodo decided to head to the new Jedi Order on Naboo, to see if he could become a Jedi, like the Apprentice suggested all those years before. Taking his ancient Holocron and staff with him, he headed to Naboo to begin his Jedi training.

It was on Naboo that he trained with Jedi Masters Kahn, and Cole Donovin, before finishing his training with Master Solo, and then being promoted to Jedi Knight.

It was shortly before his promotion to Knight that he came into contact with the dark side of the Force, or rather, Silus of the Sith Order. Silus ambushed the Jedi Apprentice on Coruscant, after Vodo had confronted and defeated a known enemy of the Naboo people. A fight ensued, leading to a draw. Neither giving much ground. but Silus inflicted grevious wounds on Vodo, even as the two went their seperate ways.

Shortly after his return to Naboo, he was promoted to Jedi Knight.

"The Walking Stick"

Vodo does not carry any traditional weapons, including lightsabers. Instead he uses his baffor walking stick in an unusual style of fighting, mimicking his jedi ancestor. Vodo Baas of the past fought with his walking stick, using the Force to bind the stick closer together the the subatomic level. Subsequently, in this state, the stick can be very effective against lightsabers.

Vodo is a being that finds solace in nonviolence. He, as a Jedi Knight, would rather negotiate a peace with his enemy before fighting them. However, being trained by three different masters, each with their own particular fighting styles, he is not a stranger to combat.
