PROFILE:

Sully Anre is like a carnival mirror-- how you percieved him depended on where you stood. To the general public in the Black Dragon Empire, Anre is a hardworking career politician whose tenure as High Regent of the Imperium shaped the Tion Cluster to the galactic power it is now, only surpassed by The New Order-- making it the second largest faction in the galaxy. To his supporters, Anre is a shrewd deal maker, always flexible when compromise would lead to a greater good. To his enemies and the eyes of other factions, High Regent Anre is a conniving, amoral person.

What's true of Sully Anre is true of the Black Dragon Empire in general. Some segments of the population actively mistrust others for its seeming lack of scruples-- not to mention its talent for espionage, infiltration, and assassination. But Dragons are a complex people with many motivations.

Born into the Tion Hegemony on the colony world of Rudrig, Sully recognized at an early age that he had little talent for sports or anything else. He worked to become a diplomat, for he felt that politics equaled power. The fact that Anre lived on second-tier Rudrig, and not Argai or Chandaar, made him push himself even harder. As soon as he aquired wealth through business dealings, Anre formed the Tion Cluster Guild to solidify his image as a legitimate up-and-comer.

It was during this point in his career that the Guild discovered a planet deep in the Cluster named Dameo. Sully with firm curiousity, met with the enigmatic leader of the Daemuns, Heir Raktus, and solidified an alliance that led to the reformation of the Black Dragon Empire, after its seperation with Jade Raktus. The Taj Daemun offered Anre the entire rulership of the human colonies of the Tion Cluster, in exchange to aid in conquering it. Anre accepted and dissolved the Guild, aiding the Daemuns in forming a fleet with a captured Imperial Star Destroyer as its spear to lead the campaign.

In true form of the Dragon's frame of mind, weaknesses in others should be exploited in order to achieve greater goals. Anre used this philosophy like a hawkbat wields its talons-- he kept undercover until the right moment arrived, then he struck without mercy. With aid of the Daemuns, <a href="http://pub33.ezboard.com/fswalliancefrm9.showMessage?topicID=1312.topic">Argai</a> fell to the Imperium, followed by <a href="http://www.therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=814">Saheelindeel</a>, and <a href="http://www.therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=806">Risban</a>. After these significant victories, Anre climbed the political ladder while his rivals fell victim to treachery, assassinations, and manufactured scandals. Other human leaders of the Tion Cluster latched on to this rising star and joined the Black Dragon Empire to further their interests. Soon, Anre had a faction at his command and established Argai as the human center of the Imperium, making Dameo as the Holy Center of the Universal Daemun Church. At this point he set his sight on a much more ambitious goal-- control of the entire Tion Cluster and the Outer Rim.

At the time, Taj Raktus ruled with absolute authority, but Anre was certain that even Raktus could not rule the human factor of the Imperium, since the Daemuns thought them lower in the technological stage of evolution. He began making overtures toward the creation of General Grevious, and after his indoctrination as the Supreme Commander of the Imperium's forces, Sully felt confident enough to throw in his lot with the General to take the rest of the Tion Cluster.

During Grevious's campaign, Anre felt the time was right for an outright grab for power. In what proved to be one of his bold moves, he approached the Taj Dameun in a declaration to make himself High Regent of the entire Tion Cluster. Heir Raktus accepted the declaration and was indoctrinated as High Regent of the Imperium.

At last, Sully Anre ruled the Tion Cluster.

Less than a year into his rulership, Anre decided to expand the Black Dragon Empire out of the realm of the Tion Cluster and began to organize another campaign, utilizing the talents of Commander Sim Aragon and Kix Davin to form an "outpost coalition" outside of the Cluster. Soon, <a href="http://www.therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5028">Gand and Toong I</a> fell into the grasp of the Dragon, with many others soon to follow.

As well, another plan of espionage was underway. A Force wielder by the name of <a href="http://www.therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4419">Syren</a> was recruited and brought to Anre in order to infiltrate and steal vital artifacts within the Jedi Temple on Naboo. Whether the mission is to be successful, remains to be seen.

As for now, Sully Anre, the High Regent of the Black Dragon Empire, overlooks his Imperium with a watchful eye.

PERSONAL:

Sully Anre is usually dressed with a form-fitting black frock made of costly fine-grade armorweave fabric which drapes like silk and dissipates blaster or lightsaber energy, which cover his entire body. His decorative weapons are attached to his lower hips or within hidden pockets of his frock. Silver jewelry adorn the outer features of his outfit, his fingers, and his headdress, which he wears only on special occasions. He speaks with a crisp, high accent and does not meddle with mere small talk, but talks directly to business, when it suits him.
