PROFILE:

While tacticians and strategists, such as Commander Sim Aragon, Sully Anre, and Admiral Essex Vaako, waged the Black Dragon Empire's expansive campaign with the gentility of a dejarik player, Ryn Adaala set upon the Imperium's expansion with the fury of a Kryat Dragon. Ferocious and unpredictable, she is one of the most bold and ambitious tacticians the Imperium has unleashed onto the Tion Cluster and the Outer Rim.

Adaala was recruited in the right time and era when her homeworld of Brigia fell into the hands of the Dragons. Convinced this was a new era the Tion Cluster was entering, she joined their ranks to become a part of that history. She was soon accepted into the Arm of the Dragon military academy on Raxus, and received many recognitions for her ambitious personality and tactical genius. The intense training at Raxus also helped her bury the memories of her ex-lover, whom she had abandoned in order to pursue her new course of life, and he in turn, joined the Tion resistance. In time, he was apprehended and then executed.

Upon graduation, she was promoted to Commander and given command of a DragonClaw to be assigned to patrol the outer sectors of the Imperium. Out of frustration of not seeing battle, Adaala ordered her DragonClaw to assault a convoy of pirates out of the Cronese Mandate during a routine patrol, wiping out the convicts and successfully retrieving several cargo ships that were stolen by the pirate gang.

For her successful effort, Adaala was promoted to the rank of Captain-- the first promotion given to a woman-- and assumed command of one of the Imperium's first commissioned Tion Star Destroyers, named the Erebus. Under her wing, she also assumed command of several DragonClaws in her small armada.

With these ships under her command, she joined Admiral Vaako in the taking of <a href="http://www.therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=688">Ciutric and Axxila</a>, resulting in victories over the two planets, as Adaala crushed Axxila's forces with the might of a hammer.

A month later, her next assignment was to help accompany the high leaders of the Imperium to <a href="http://therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=675">Vladet</a> to conduct negotiations with the New Order and the Galactic Coalition. When talks failed from the treacherous acts of the GLF and the Cree'Ar, Captain Adaala accompanied the fleet's retreat out of the system, despite her thirst to engage the enemy at all costs.

During the incursion of the Cronese Mandate, Ryn Adaala stole the limelight away from the Farfalen Commander, Gien Schi, as she took <a href="http://www.therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4410">Embaril</a> from under him, as he became wounded in the battle above the planet. She received full recognition of the victory and shamed the Farfalen commander into retirement.

Months passed, and her crowning achievement came at hand, surprisingly under minimal force. The world of <a href="http://www.therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4602">Honoghr</a>, under the Galactic Coalition, was taken by force by Farfalen forces and Ryn Adaala did not hesitate in joining the fray. She helped to defeat the Coalition's fleet over Honoghr and forced them into retreat. After their victory, Adaala boarded a shuttle to the surface and negotiated the annexation of the Noghri's home planet.

After the successful takeover, Admiral Harker of the Farfalen requested Captain Adaala to accompany him in the taking of <a href="http://www.therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4730">Formos</a>. Under the pair, their unified forces proved no victory was in store for the doomed pirate gangs. Formos fell within days.

Returning to the Tion Cluster, Captain Adaala took time off duty and spent time on Argai, then was ordered back to join Anre's quest to begin the formation of the outpost coalition, utilizing the talents of Commander Sim Aragon and Admiral Vaako. With the Erebus spearheading the campaign, she helped to assist Commander Aragon and Kix Davin to take <a href="http://www.therebelfaction.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5028">Gand and Toong I</a> outside the Tion Cluster, then returned for repairs with the fleet, while Commander Davin left for the Pakunni system to begin negotiations for their annexation.

So far, Captain Adaala is not stopping in her ambitious quest to become the next Admiral in the Black Dragon Empire.

PERSONAL:

Ryn Adaala is dressed in a woman's form-fitting black uniform with her rank of Captain. Her uniform is made of costly fine-grade armorweave fabric which drapes like silk and dissipates blaster or lightsaber energy, which covers her entire body. Her decorative weapons are attached to her lower hips or within hidden pockets of her uniform. She speaks with authority and is not to be trifled when confronted, as she is well known to practice martial arts and can wield a vibroblade with the skill of a surgeon.

Beautiful, thin, and petite, she arranges her hair to cascade over her shoulders and has several thin braids by her ears-- a tradition within women commanders that a braid signifies a victory over their enemy. She accepts any challenge within reason and accomplishes it to the best of her abilities, using any means possible. Adaala is also short tempered and is known to lash out at officers when her needs are not met. Sometimes, her temper can impair her judgement.
