Origins:

Vladimir Brand was born on Vladet some fifty years ago, during the time of which the original Galatic Empire occupied Vladet. At the age of two, his parents, both of whom worked under Admiral Devlia of Rachuk Sector Fleet, were killed when the Rebellion launched a raid on Grand Isle, levelling the base located there. Brand was adopted by the replacement admiral, who later became a rogue warlord when the Empire began to collapse. He served under the warlord for the thirty years that he was in power, steadily rising through the ranks of his small empire, to become the warlord's aide when Vice Admiral Kraken finally showed up in order to liberate the world. He commanded the warlord's air forces and ground troops in the campaign, and surrendered them without incident when it became clear that his men's lives would be wasted if he continued the fight. From there he became a brief Imperial prisoner of war, and then was allowed to transfer to the Empire, to serve under Park Kraken. The two quickly established a close friendship, and became the best of friends and partners in the years that have gone by, and the years that have yet to come.

Brief New Order Service Record:

Commodore Brand first served in the expansion of Kraken's Protectorate, assisting in siezing the world of Isht during the Operation Iron takeovers. From there he commanded a division of Kraken's Grand Fleet during the battles against the Outer-Rim Soveriengty, and successfully destroyed many enemy ships while retaining most of his own capital ships. Later on he helped to quell the outbreaking of rioters on Isht during to the GLF's efforts to cause an uprising on the world, and led the expedition that saw the capture of Falleen, beleive to be the staging point of the terroists who attacked both Gorulag, and Isht.

Currently Vladimir Brand holds the rank of Commodore, having recently been demoted from the rank of Admiral by Emperor Park Kraken, after Brand refused an order that he considered needlessley suicidal for both him and the men under his service, for too little to gain for it. Brand has become increasingly uneasy serving under Emperor Kraken, and has become wary of Regent Kach Thorton's motives.
