Background: When Gar turned 18 he left his life as a son of a merchant
to inlist in the imperial army, fleeing what he saw as a dead end life
on a dead end planet. The army life suited Gar and he took effort in
becoming a good soldier and he had been promoted to the rank of squad
commander under his required service time. After his service was over
Gar sensed that he wanted to try out to stand on his own feet, so he
became a freelance Bounty hunter. But after several years of semi successful
bounty hunting he became aware of that the life of a bounty hunter did
not suit him, he longed to serve a purpose larger then personal wealth,
he still longed to serve the Empire. So that was when he once again
decided to offer his services to the Empire that he had once served.

I would like more background than just one paragraph. Strengths? Weaknesses? Family ties? Missions he was involved in? Relationships?

ah, I see what you mean and I agree totally, I am currently working on a more detailed background story. This one is just a preview, just to have something whilst I am working on the other one.
