Description: An inconspicuous man, Jaxon is able to travel unseen through most major cities that humans frequent. He is muscular and toned from years working in a slave labor camp, but this feature can be hidden under his clothing. His eyes are the most memorable thing about him. Generally, his eyes are deep blue and appear to pierce through to a being’s thoughts; however, when angered, Jaxon’s eyes blaze as if a blue-white fire has been lit behind them. Jaxon’s clothing is also inconspicuous – generally navy pants, a nondescript white shirt, and a baggy black pilot’s jacket. When carrying one of his rifles, he will wear a long, black cloak to conceal it.

Character History: Born on Corellia seven years after the galaxy has been coopted by the Emperor, Jaxon never knew anything but stormtroopers and Star Destroyers. Corellia was a stronghold for the Imperials long after the fall of the Emperor. Jaxon’s parents were both officers in CorSec, but they hated the Empire and everything for which it stood. They joined a small underground resistance, but they did not inform their son of their activities, believing him to be too young to recognize the importance of secrecy. What they did not realize was that he was being indoctrinated at every turn by the Empire. When he was sixteen, the year the Emperor fell, Jaxon’s parents finally told him of their illegal activities. Jaxon, who had already placed his loyalties with the Empire, grabbed up a blaster and shot them dead on the spot. He turned their bodies in to the authorities and was handsomely rewarded. In this way he discovered the art of bounty hunting.

Jaxon used the reward money to purchase a few “necessaries” for his chosen field, i.e., his weapons. He “acquired” a small freighter, which he began to modify for use as a bounty hunter. It was then that he was approached by a man whose name he is still ignorant of, asking Jaxon to steal a ship for him. The mission was successful, and Jaxon discovered the lucrative pirating business.

When Admiral Thrawn came to power in the Empire, Jaxon joined the Imperial forces as an auxiliary – specifically as a pirate. The Empire was badly in need of ships, and Jaxon knew how to take them. His proceeds continued to grow, since the Empire was paying premiums, but eventually his luck ran out. While attempting to palm a Star Galleon, he was captured by a small-time warlord and sent to work as a slave at a rock quarry. He spent ten years in the quarry, building muscle and developing friendships with the other slaves. In the year of the rise of the New Order (1 N.I.E.), Jaxon incited a slave revolt, in the process stealing an E-wing fighter and escaping the planet on which he was held. For the last five years, Jaxon has been staying below the radar screen, doing the odd job here and there, but mostly biding his time to make a name for himself in the galaxy…
