(Note: A very long overdue bio for this girl....)

Name: Asri
Race: Trandoshan
Age: 25 Standard years

Description: 7 feet tall with white scales and dark blue eyes. Wear’s ordinary clothing save for when she’s on a ‘job’. In which case she dons a large black hooded cloak, with black leather tank top, shorts and arm/leg guards. Her chosen weapon is an old style Trandoshan weapon called a K’Zur: a glove adored with over foot long blade-like claws (think Freddy Kruger). She is adept at using one or two of these. She is also skilled at just using her bare hands.

History:

Asri started life as a normal typical Trandoshan female, eager to please her dominating father, Besk, and content with being nothing but a future ‘pretty wife’ and clutch mother for her future yet unchosen husband. However her world was turned upside down when her scheming sister, Kosi, arranged it so that fertility tests showed her as being sterile. Her father, who believed the only good sterile female was a dead one, disowned Asri and sold her to a laboratory of unknown alliance.

The experiment they preformed on her put her so close to death that they thought she was dead and they dumped her unresponsive body in a junkyard. When she awakened, she not only discovered she had been physically altered, but lacked the memory of who she was and how she came to be this way. She may not have remembered who she was, but she knew her now white scales forever branded her as an outcast, with no hope of a normal life among her people.

It wasn’t just her physical appearance and amnesia the experiment altered: there were other side effects as well. One was her sight, specifically her night vision. Where other Trandoshans saw in infrared in darkness, Asri now had ultravision: she could see as clearly in the dark as a cat. The other change, was what she was able to eat. For some reason, her body only allowed the consumption of blood as substance.

( Path of the Lost ) She wandered aimlessly across the galaxy for a time, stowing away on ships and feeding off of animals and, when animals weren’t available, the sentient beings that ‘wouldn’t be missed’. Eventually she found herself on Corusant, the heart of the Empire, where she met up with the Sith Lord Lupercus. Why he was interested in her she didn’t know, but after a short time in his company she remembered everything about her past. When she remembered how she became like she was, she vowed revenge.

(Disclaimer: the following was never RPed: merely speculation on what was likely to have happened) Asri trained as an assassin while under the Sith Lord’s care and eventually learned she could consume liver as well as blood safely, thus expanding her food choices. One of her first victims was her own sister Kosi, whose manipulation had been discovered by their father and was now disowned herself. It was soon after this Asri started to suspect that her caretaker had alternative motives for helping her.

It was a chance encounter with one of the scientists that performed the experiment on her that cued her in. Not wanting to waste the opportunity, she had forced him to tell her everything about the experiment, only to discover that things could get far worse for her. What she found out was that they had injected her with an experimental form of nanobot and that it had apparently gone rogue. This scientist, much more loose lipped then Asri could have hoped, told her he was on the way to met her caretaker, to negotiate her return to their lab for through testing. However the Sith did not know he was coming and Asri killed him to prevent the truth of her situation from becoming known. She knew he would eventually figure it out on his own however, as soon after they had first met she allowed him to draw some of her blood for testing. Knowing his alliance with the Empire, his reach would be far and Asri knew her freedom would be short lived if she remained here. Somehow, she manage to not only keep Lupercus from discovering who ‘owned’ her, but managed to slip away from Corusant with no intention of ever returning. For a while she laid low before taking on her next target on her list of revenge: her father.

( Separatist: Isolation ) Asri managed to smuggle herself back on Trandosha without getting shot at, thanks to her training in stealth. Soon after she took advantage of a raid by unknown parties on a Sykir laboratory, taking possession of a prototype advanced cloaking suit: with this she could sneak around looking for her father without worrying about being spotted. However she knew she couldn’t take out her father on her own in his current state of fitness: as a former K’Satikur warrior he was deadly in combat and had the brains to back it up. So began the sly game of wearing him down and she started by taking out a contact of his in the Sykir Clan, unintentionally aiding in freeing a member of party that an ally to the Separatist Movement. From that point on Asri’s path kept crossing with the Separatists, happily using certain events the Separatist’s caused to her advantage.

( Separatist: Alliance ) With the Separatist’s unknowing help, she was able to snitch not only her father’s contact information, but his account codes as well while Besk was mistakenly incarcerated for being a Separatist. With this information she drained him dry of both contacts and money, leaving him with nothing but what he had on his hide. While rescuing a kid that was about to be killed by the now desperate Besk, she was able to wound him badly. With the Marshall Law that had been imposed on the planet by the insane Hyossk, Besk could not get any rest to allow his wound to heal, as he was now a wanted man by his own allies! All Asri had to do was wait for him to weaken and when she felt he was weakened enough, she struck. Besk was still a tough customer however, and he managed to destroy the cloaking device during the fight. But his weakened state enabled Asri to defeat him and before he breathed his last she happily ate his liver before his eyes.

Her involvement with the Separatists was no longer indirect however, as before she had ended Besk’s life she saved the life of one of the leaders of the Separatist movement, Rissonik, Sha’tor of the K’Satikur Clan, by warning him of the now enemy controlled Sovereignty orbiting Trandosha. Rissonik, grateful for her help, offered her membership into the Clan, much to the surprise of both other Clan members and Asri herself, which Asri accepted. Respect for her from Clan members and with members of the Serendivus Fleet only increased from that point on, with the exception of Varcanna, Rissonik’s step-daughter.

( Beginning and End of all Things ) Life in the Clan was more fulfilling then Asri could have hoped. Rissonik’s grandchildren practically adopted her as their new mother, helping to fill that part of her dream she feared would never be fulfilled. Things however quickly became tense when Rissonik’s son, Trazu suddenly returned, but not as himself.

The young Trandoshan had lost the battle of wills against the ancient spirit known to them as the K’Satizitus, which the ancestor of the family and founder of the Clan had slain eons ago. It demanded to know where something was, but wouldn’t reveal what it was. After it had left, thankfully without ending any lives, Asri was able to piece together the puzzle from the clues the had. With Rissonik’s permission, she took off to find the skull of the K’Satizitus, the key to the spirit’s continued presence in the galaxy, which had been stolen during the Separatist Movement. As she predicted, it was the recently departed Hyossk that had taken the skull and hung it in his office in the Council of Elders building. The skull proved to be capable of defending itself fairly well and it took a mini thermal detonator to destroy it. She had managed to do so just in time, as the spirit possessed Trazu had just arrived on the scene. Thanks to her effort to destroy the skull, Trazu was now free of the spirit and extremely grateful of her. The act also improved her standing in the Clan significantly: even Varcanna backed off a bit.

However despite her happiness, she knew there was a chance those that made her what she is would come after her with force and the secrets of what was happening to her she had yet to tell anyone. To her she felt she had gone as far as she could go. What she doesn’t know, is that there is someone she knew that was determined to prove her wrong….
