As a young child, I had an intolerable desire to fight for the Rebellion. Yet being in a country suppressed by liberation, no-one could know my secret desire. But at the age of 17, I moved to the free planet of Tatooine and was employed as a soldier in the Rebel forces.

After years of dedication and fighting in different planets, pledging my allegiance to the Rebellion and destroying the Liberation, I became a General. Having fought in space battles, winning over the respect of my superiors, it took years to become a renowned General. I am now famous for the brutality and psychological techniques used in the liberation of the planets ruled by the Liberation.

Now, after years of being under the control of superiors of far greater power than myself, I am now ready to begin my path to rule the universe. Those in my army have come to respect and worship the techniques that I use, learning themselves to realise that it is not what we do in the battlefield but instead what we know.

The techniques are those of psychology, when I was studying as a young child I had a hidden interest in the workings of our minds, and studied secretly the works of Sigmund Freud and other psychologists trying to work out the best way to falsify the enemy. Now as a war General, I know the workings of the mind and have won many battles through psychology and brutality.

As I move through the ranks of the Rebellion, starting of as a lowly officer, I now control over 1/3 of the Rebellion forces and I am now a General. You will speak to me with utter respect and call me...General Spiritius.

As a man with ideals, I have been shown quite some interest by the superiors in past times, and therefore I have learnt to never trust a friend. I have learnt to carry a double bladed knife from the outer rims of the Galaxy, which has come to my protection several times. Now, as I stand before all of thee in proclamation, you seem to wish to bring me down! Men from across the Astral Astoria have decided that they do not like those who have came are rising against oppresion. My friends, my people, I tell you, do not be like the ones before you.

As a General, I ask you to realise that my cause is one of justification and clear thinking. I have not been clouded by the government's plans for prosperity. I wish for you to see that your government, my government is corrupt and I cannot stand for this.

No rebels. They've been gone for a while.

Oh, and Sigmund Freud doesn't exist in Star Wars or anything else because there is no Earth in Star Wars.

In relation to your comment, I shall explain. The Rebel Faction although dissolved, still has many loyal members who are willing to rise up against the Galactic Coalition and I am one of them. Since the time when the hidden Rebel Faction was created, I signed up to the Rebel Forces. This therefore provides evidence that there is still a Rebel Faction and that your comment is unreliable.

The Rebels were disolved into the Republic, the Republic fell to the new order, and then from the remains of the republic the Galactic Coalition was formed. I've been here for two years, so maybe you should well listen to your elders before calling me unreliable.

Darth, this is not an In Character comment forum. If you're not going to adhere to our theme, you going to find your stay here very short and uncomfortable. You have your own issues to attend to, as I see it, so perhaps you should deal with those first.

UrbanSpiritUK: I appreciate your desire to explain yourself as a member of the Rebellion, but sadly, there is no such faction in the Galaxy today... at least, not as the Films imagined them. I would advise that you read our Timeline to get a better understanding of how things work around here. It won't behoove you to chide our experianced, long-standing members; it will not endear you to anyone.

The name of our community, as a whole, is "The Rebel Faction" given the blood in which it was born; not that I can expect you to know that. It does not imply that we are ripe with In Character manifestations of the Rebels Alliance or whaveter you might think.

Take a look at our Rules and FAQ. If you have any questions or concerns, I'd be only to happy to help. If you insist on following the Rebel spirit, there is always the option to create a new group devoted to that cause, however; as you would be doing so alone and largly without support, I would suggest you spend a little more time finding your feet before following that path.

Also, guys, there's nothing against staying "In Character" at all times, but not many people do that here so expect weird looks and vulgar comments.

i thought the whole point of this place was to be an escape from real life where we can unwind in a fantasy universe? what's wrong woth staying in character?

What kind of question is that?

TRF is primarly an out of character board. The Battlegrounds, IC News & Propaganda and The Astral Astoria are TRF's primary IC forums. Various groups also have IC forums. But most forums are OOC. You may, if you wish, post completly IC, but since most people don't your milage may vary.

This place is used to keep character biographies for reading and for commenting, as has already happened. PC's (player characters) are protected entities on TRF. NPC's are not. Having a biography or username registered for a character ensures that he is protected under the rules.

Quick question: Why are you trying to rise up against the Galactic Coalition? Seriously, I'd like an answer for that one.

And as mentioned there hasn't been a rebellion here for a while and all the groups with the word rebellion in them have been lightside and therefore anti-TNO (The New Order -> The Empire) and not anti-GC (Galactic Coalition). And if you are trying to go against the big guys or something like that, I suggest TNO.

And yeah, as mentioned, at TRF we tend to not act in character all the time. And I wouldn't recommend TRF as an "escape" from RL, it can lead to bad consequences. Like TRF becoming your life.

Perhaps you denied the player in the past, Jan? Or maybe he picked at random.

GC deny a player? I don't think we ever did that, we were always too needy for that. And too nice. Ignored players at times, or accepted them then ignored them, yes, but outright rejection, never.

Perhpas he is an Imperial at heart and sees the GC for what it is - a vile den of inequity and chaos shourded in lies of equality and democracy. His heart perchance is pure and seeks the Order that only the Empire can provide.

Welcome - and enjoy. This is indeed a difficult galaxy to become one in for it is inhabited by eccentric luncatics, brilliant autocrats (me), budding politicans, tacticians, strategists - etc. This forum is lurked on and home to some of the best minds that cyberspace has to offer - becoming accepted here is the equal of commanding any number of other forums - here we are masters of our arts and while, universally shunnedd RL, we are united by our knolwedge that each of us, in his own time and way, will become more than those who had derided us.

There are a few normal people here......but they are not what you might consider noraml for they are smart - and cunning.
