Phoenix was the name given to Boros Jadal, a bounty hunter who had proved himself over a score of times to crime lords and powerful businessmen alike. As the Phoenix never dies but is reborn, Jadal’s feats earned him the nickname of the fiery bird within the network of crime and deceit throughout several systems.

Jadal had been a smuggler since the age of 13 and had worked on a captured Ranger Gunship Haralos for around two years before an Imperial Carrack-Class Light Cruiser Stallion found and attempted to capture Haralos. Several escape pods were jettisoned but only half of them made it past the Stallion’s fire. Jadal narrowly escaped with his life inside one of the pods.

At the age of 17, after working in a shipyard on Talus in the Corellian System, Jadal was employed by a bounty hunter named Threslin. Jadal quickly found new skills working as a bounty hunter and within 6 months of training he received his first assignment to hunt down an escaped convict from a prison on Tralus, another planet in the Corellian System.

Jadal was well known for his friends and associates throughout several star systems, some of them powerful people. He had hunted down several notorious criminals and earned his stripes working for crime lords in Coruscant for several years. Eventually the Imperial Navy heard about successful smuggling routes in and out of Coruscant and immediately sent several spies to trace the smuggling routes to their source. Within a galactic week, BlasTech Industries, a leading manufacturer in energy weapons and artillery was shut down temporarily while the leaders of the corporation faced the Empire’s wrath. Jadal only just managed to escape through the imperial blockade by stowing aboard a small freight cruiser.

At the age of 23, Jadal found himself a strong career as a bounty hunter. Within two years he had been employed just over a score of times.
At the age of 28, after being burned horribly as his ship the Forlorn took damage from a chasing Imperial Cruiser, he took a vow to overthrow the shackles of oppression that the Empire had clamped on him in his life.

As the sun set another night, Jadal fitted himself with the necessary equipment for his next assignment. Beneath the folds of the brown robe and hood he had dressed in, was tough leather armour that carried two concealed knives. A DC-17m blaster hung loosely from his belt. He turned his face towards the setting sun and after breathing in the cool air for a moment, he smiled. The Phoenix would be upon his target tonight.

Don't listen to him! He is trying to corrupt you, old friend. Don't give in. They wish to tame you and ground the phoenix. But you must stay wild and free.
