Civil war, such a horrible thing. A thing that pitted brother agianst brother, father agianst son. Was such a horrible thing indeed. But that was what happened to Ziost. A small planet which was nearly destroyed by said war. Families were torn apart. And the planet lost a third of its entire population even. The Storm family was one such family that was once very prosperous at one time, but after the civil war the Storm family just happened to be on the wrong side, and the retribution of such a thing took everything they had from them and they had warrants put out for their arrest seeing as they were the opposition's main supplier of weapons in the Northern Hemisphere. Such a reputation demanded arrest and trial. But for fear of having his family killed, Jacob Storm picked up his family of four sons, one daughter and his pregnant wife and fleed from the planet.
Finding their way to the nearby planet of Almania which was a well and fine place for prominent refugees such as the Storms. Immediately Jacob Storm settled in and with the remaining money he had from Ziost bought as much stock as he could. Even sacrificing luxuries such as proper housing for his family. To most men this would be looked down upon but within the next 3 months the stocks had boomed to the fortune of Jacob Storm and selling half gave the Storm family quite a big bank account. Enough to purchase, land and a large home. As the next month passed Jacob's wife gave birth to a fith son at the cost of her life. And because this happened the youngest and last son of Jacob Storm was his favorite.
When Jaiden was five years old he learned much of the Jedi Knights. He idolized them and in all his days until he was fifteen wanted to be one. When Jaiden was seven years old a Jedi Knight came to Jacob requesting Jaiden be sent to Ossus for training to become a Jedi, but Jacob would not have it. He would not condemn his son to such a hard life. He wanted his son to be free. But the Jedi Knight, in a sense, wouldn't take no for an answer, he did however respect the father's wishes... to an extent. He hung around Jaiden, teaching him what he could but not enough for him to become threatened by the darkside of the Force. For two years Jaiden had the luxury of having a Jedi friend. But soon enough Jaiden's Jedi friend disappeared.
The brothers of Jaiden were the biggest influence in his life's path. By Jaiden's tenth birthday his oldest brother Darrin was twenty-five. He would eventually become a major political figure on Almania. Then there was Alex who was eighteen, who in time would enlist into the military and become one of Almania's war heros. Samuel who was seventeen was very prosperous himself as he would come to own an Orbital Refueling Station. And then Orin, who was fifteen and had his own ways of being prosperous...
When Jaiden was seventeen his brother Orin disappeared from the face of Almania. This was the same year Jaiden became of age and he enlisted as his brother Alex had done five years ago. Becoming a soldier was one of Jaiden's best decisions in life. It gave him many skills and talents he would need in the Galaxy, and also it was good on any resume'. His first two years he had a rough start, but serious trouble but had his share of getting smoked by his Sergeants. But he rose quickely reaching Private First Class in twelve months of service. He reached Specialist six months later and in another six he became a Corporal. Upon his fourth year in service war broke out on Almania, a war between two world super powers that would tear each other apart.
Six years have passed now and Army Staff Sergeant Storm, weary of the war was now twenty-seven years old, and hearing of his brother Orin being in some serious trouble with the underworld bosses of Nal Hutta, decided to take emergency leave and take care of some family business...
