Character Name: Miakoda
Race: Human
Age: 26

Character Physical Description: Miakoda is not anything special in her appearance. Dark almond shaped eyes, light olive skin, and frizzy dark blond curls drape casually around her face across her shoulders. She goes to no trouble to improve her appearance, and often dresses in male clothes in sandy colors, practical boots up her knees, lightweight leggings, and a tunic hitched up with a casual belt. Often she also covers her face and hair with a simple cotton hood.

Brief Character History:

My name is Miakoda. I grew up on Tattoine, as a young girl. My parents scraped just enough money together as moisture farmers far out in the desert, where my family saw little of civilization. My future was never a subject of discussion. I would simply grow up to be a housewife, and help my darling future husband in the same art of being a moisture farmer, as my father. There was not much ambition, but I knew nothing else then this simplistic lifestyle out in nowhere, in the dune sea.

The threat of the Tusken raiders were a constant threat hovering over the heads of the families of the dune sea, and when I was sixteen, our worst fears came true, and my mother was attacked and killed in the scorching heat of the twin suns in the sky, by these monsters. In a rage worthy of a berserker, my father left our humble home in quest of revenge, never to return. Together with my older brother Archer, I left for Mos Eisley. Here we choose so very different ways. I started working in a bar as a serving girl in the hope of earning enough money to live comfortable in a small flat. Archer on the other hand was determined to reach for the stars, and only stayed in Mos Eisley long enough to be able to hitch a ride to Coruscant via starship. We parted, and said goodbye with heavy hearts. Archer begged me to come along, but I guess I still longed for the old dream of a simplistic life and a happy marriage, and refused his offer of action and adventure around every corner. Now I wish I had accepted, but back then I had no idea that even a seemingly “simplistic” life on Tattoine could be fraught with just as much danger, if not more.

At the age of twenty four, I believed her dream would at last be fulfilled. I became engaged to a man by the name of Toan Forta, unknowing of his dangerous profession, that of a bounty hunter. He never told me, and I was to foolish an innocent maiden to ask. My joy was not to be. Before my very own eyes, Toan Forta was shot by a rival bounty hunter, and I watched with horror as the man I had loved and dreamed about for so long, sank to his knees and collapsed before me, dead. I watched in fear, as his murderer stepped out of the shadows, and nudged the dead corpse with the toe of his boot to secure that he was dead. He gave me a choice that evening that changed my life. Die, or become his slave. In silent tears I chose the later, a choice I've regretted since then. The following year I spent with that cold hearted man was torture. In the end I decided to take matters into my own hands, and gave myself a choice. End my own life, or his. And once again I chose the later, and poisoned him, an action he never anticipated from his young naive, innocent slave girl.

After that I've taken many more decisions that I've regretted and will yet live to regret. I became a bounty hunter myself like my finance had been, and my former master. It was the only profession I knew anything about, having spent the last two years in their company, one with my finance, one with his rival. I listened and learned even though they didn't know. I still do that. Many of my employees do not know I am a girl, even though I make no art of concealing it. Its easier for women to come up close to their prey without waking suspicion. And thats who I am know. Miakoda the Bounty Hunter. But thats not my goal. You see I'm searching the galaxy for the brother I loved and parted from so long ago. He must be out there somewhere. Archer.
