Name: Trakinor Zidane

Age: Late 30’s
Sex: Male
Species: Twi’lek
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 160 lbs
Hair: -
Eyes: Red

Relations: Banished from his family and clan

Description: Trakinor is a Twi’lek; as is the norm with his species, he has a pair of head tails, referred to as Lekku, that protrude from the base of his skull. His skin is a mauve hue, while his eyes are a bright red. His nose is long, narrow and pointed at the end, while his cheeks are shallow and he appears almost gaunt in the face. Trakinor is quite lean, even for his species, and his frame is almost to the point of being sinewy; he appears toned, through this is due to the lack of bodily fat deposits, causing each muscle to jut under the skin.

Due to a past incident, Trakinor has a large amount of scar tissue, leading down from his lower jaw, neck and upper chest. The damage sustained was extensive, and in order to save his life, surgeons were forced to reconstruct both the front portion of his neck, and his windpipe, at the expense of his vocal chords; this left the Twi’lek with permanent damage, effectively leaving him unable to speak. Trakinor also has very fine, yet noticeable, scars around his mouth, cheeks and chin areas; a result of the same surgery that involved replacing the majority of his lower jaw.

Trakinor has a series of Twi’lek-designed tattoos across his upper chest, continuing to each shoulder, and training down to around mid upper arm; he also has the same designs across each hand, leading up to the wrist. These designs appear to be a mixture of tribal and symbol elements, each dating back to specific moments in his past that were of importance to him.

The Twi’lek wears a tight, form fitting sneak suit at all times; the suit is made up of a durable, light weight material known as flexitex, which acts like a second skin, but also gives mild protection. The suit is a complete body sheath, which includes gloves (which are fingerless) and boots, each made of the same material. Typically he conceals this beneath more civilian-like attire; of these over garments, Trakinor usually wears a dull brown shirt, faded green travelling pants, a pair of worn nerf-hide boots. Beneath the shirt itself, Trakinor has a series of loose fabrics wrapped around his chest and neck, concealing his neckline disfigurement.

Equipment: Comlink, a grappling spike launcher, a liquid cable dispenser unit, and a wrist-mounted security/communications slicing PDA unit.

Species Abilities: Trakinor is able to use his Lekku to communicate, the extensions having a complete language of their own. He has taught Beff simple portions of this headtail signing, and this serves as a secret means of communicating when required.

Force Sensitive: Yes; Trakinor is in touch with the Force, however he has not developed this ability, and simply has inklings of ‘trouble’; this is much in the way of a natural danger sense, allowing him to feel when something is not quite right that poses a danger to his being.

---------- Background Data ----------

Trakinor was born into the D’squelik clan on Ryloth; his parentage was considered middle class, and his father was one of the advisors to the clan chief. From an early age the young Twi’lek was groomed in the ways of the advisor, though as time passed it became to pass that Trakinor’s true skills were in the more secretive arts of an advisor. As was the standard in the D’squelik clan, all advisors were also trained as bodyguards, and sometime assassins, all in the effort to maintain a safety net around the clan chief.

At the age of fifteen standard galactic years, Trakinor was assigned to the clan’s servant class, finalizing the steps required before he would finally be promoted to the position of advisor, following his father’s retirement; as it was standard that only one advisor served from each of the seven selected families in the clan. Trakinor’s abilities in the killing arts of the assassin continued to grow, causing the young Twi’lek to reach the head of his class, placing him in direct favor with the clan chief and bringing honor to his family; yet there were growing concerns, within Trakinor’s immediate family, as to the young one’s seeming disinterest in his future hereditary advisory rank.

However, on the day of assignment to advisor, following Trakinor’s twenty-fourth birth date, the young Twi’lek declined the offer of placement. He instead requested that he be commissioned into the assassin class, seeking to focus his natural skill into that chosen profession. Despite his upbringing, Trakinor was well aware of the potential dishonor toward his family, of the consequences of the clan chief rejecting his appeal.

The clan chief declined the request, denying Trakinor the assassin path of life. This infuriated the young Twi’lek, and he took his leave of clan D’squelik, instead searching out the other clans on the planet and seeking to join their ranks as a potential assassin for the clan chief. No other clan accepted the youth, each turning him away. With no other place to return, having been disowned by both his family and clan, Trakinor went the way of the traveller; an occurrence that had been growing increasingly common within the last half century of Twi’lek culture.

It seemed that the Twi’lek could not deny the call of the ever-changing galaxy to their youth.

Trakinor’s first steps into the galaxy abroad were filled with danger and uncertainty. He met all kinds of beings, each claiming one thing, but giving another; one such instance resulted in the damage the Twi’lek now has to his upper body. In an attempt to gain financial support, Trakinor joined with a mercenary outfit; he was promoted quickly, proving more than able in the field, and was soon in secondary command under the mercenary leader, Marrik. At the time, the team had been hired to serve in an army, contracted to defend from an invasion; while this type of assignment was not uncommon, Trakinor felt that something was not right, that there was a feeling of overbearing dilemma. None-the-less, Trakinor served loyally with his unit of mercenaries, fighting the battle that was not his, defending the people he did not know, yet all the while having a sense of ever closing danger.

It wasn’t until the sixth day of the battle that tragedy finally struck the defenders, who until this point had been successfully repelling the army. When the enemy launched one final assault, Trakinor was separated from his men in the confusion of battle, and while this was highly unlike his normal tendencies, it became apparent that by doing so he was saved from being decimated with the remainder of his mercenary unit; all of whom were killed following the destruction of an enemy landing craft that crashed upon their retreat point through sheer coincidence.

Alone, Trakinor knew that his service to the battle had come to an end; however before he could make good his escape, he was set upon by a small tactical squadron of enemies. Despite his best efforts, the Twi’lek was overcome and eventually captured; and while this could be considered the ill omen he had sensed, it seemed that something more lingered in the future, the inkling still remaining.

While in transport, the tactical squad was attacked by allied forces. During the course of the ambush, Trakinor’s prisoner transport exploded; he suffered large amounts of injury, taking the brunt of the blast to his upper body. In the aftermath of the attack, Trakinor was taken back to the allied headquarters, were he was given emergency medical treatment. While the surgeons worked, they were hard-pressed to save the Twi’lek’s life, and were forced to make a decision: in order to save the beings’ life, his neck had to be completely reconstructed, though his vocal chords were to be sacrificed in order to make space for the cybernetic windpipe he required. Following the time consuming operation, Trakinor was left without his voice and a large amount of scar tissue to his chest and neck.

After recovering to as full capacity as possible, Trakinor was released from service of mercenary contract and given added payment for the distress suffered. Left, once again, without a home or cause, though this time without the ability to communicate acceptably, the Twi’lek began to travel the galaxy once more. After a decade of wandering aimlessly, taking odd jobs as a freelancer, Trakinor came into contact with a man named Beff Pike. The Anzati offered Trakinor a position in a small knit group of Mandalorians, offering the Twi’lek the position of an assassin, following the successful demonstration of his abilities.

For the next year Trakinor served under Beff’s command, completing a vast number of secretive missions. The Twi’lek was even with the man during the events of the Mandalore takeover, which saw a Sith Master claim the planet as his own, causing Beff and his most trusted to leave. For the entire time, Trakinor was as loyal as could any soldier be; and following the more recent events that led to the creation of the Bounty Hunters Guild, Trakinor followed Beff, taking a more official position of Guild Agent.

Now, as has been the case for as long as he cares to remember, Trakinor continues to serve both Beff and the Bounty Hunters Guild. He had finally found his place in the galaxy, a cause that could be made his own…
