Appearance: K1 is built at an imposing 6 feet tall, painted a rusty red color with two glowing yellow photoreceptors. His parts and build are unique to this era due to the fact that he was built on a planet during Old Republic times. He has the general appearance of a protocol translator droid of the time, except upon further inspection it is noted that his frame seems to be built to withstand more stress and use than a translator droid would need. Despite the fact that he is an outdated model, he seems to be newly built.
Personality: Has an inquisitive nature, tends to ask a few too many questions on security, military tactics and armaments. Has a speech pattern similer to HK-47. Is very calculating and will always respond with a blunt answer if capable of answering the question.
History: K1 was built on the droid planet of M4-78 to scout outside of the system it was located in. After receiving the order from the Sith, of whom the droid intelligence of M4-78 believed to be the colonists of the planet, to shut down and to not allow anyone to reactivate the intelligence several thousand years past. Somewhere during that time a centuries old program was triggered, one that was to activate if a certian amount of time had past without contact or activity in the area. The factories churned up again to create one droid and one ship. The droid was built to scout out for the "colonists" due to their abscence. It was programmed to uncover as much information about the technology and outside world to beam back to it's home planet while at the same time searching for the Sith to reactivate the droid intelligence that controlled the planet's industry. It was designed to not only collect information but to use any force necessary to collect that informaton including violence and assasination. The ship, however, was built for a one way shot to Coruscant. From there it was to establish connection with the Sith...
Notes: Due to Old Republic design, K1 tends to stick out in a crowd. He is only owned by M4-78 and only takes orders from organics if it would assist his primary mission. Is capable of bribery, robbery, arson, assasination or threats in order to gain information, but only uses said tactics if it is completely necessary. Also carries a blaster rifle in a leg compartment which is modern, it was traded for anything a nearby mercenary wanted to salvage from his ship.

Primary Mission: Establish contact with a Sith of any sort of leadership ranking in order to reactivate the droid intelligence on M4-78.
Secondary Mission: To collect information on technology, robotics, weaponary and shielding in order to modernize the production on M4-78 when the central droid intelligence is activated.
