Josef was born a loner, a nomad, a wanderer, and has always beleived he will die one. He does not know anything about his family, except his name. When he was around 13, he had lived on the streets of Nar Shadda, and served in a gang "war" as a grunt; somone the gangs had picked up on the streets to fight. This is ehere he earned . He witnessed horrific deaths. Although he didn't notice it, he could always see a blaster beeing drawn or fired before anyone else, and always seemed to be getting out of tight predicaments by himself, and not knowing or understanding how he did it. He managed to break away from the Gang before the "war" ended. It was then he found a young girl, called Maria, who had also been an orphan. They hanged around with each other, until one day, The gangs came back into the open. The shots started in the Refugee sector, where many Refugees were killed. Unfortunately, Joseph and Maria were there, and Maria was hit, and wounded badly. Joseph pulled her out of harm's way, and her last words to him were "I love you". She then died in his arms.
Joseph howled in pain and misery, and felt anger fill up inside him. He turned to see Maria's murderer standing a few feet away, speechless. He was no younger than 18. Joseph flew at him, wrenching the blaster from the bewildered boy's hands, and turning it on him, shooting him once in both Legs. The boy fell down, screaming in agony. Joseph pulled the blaster level with his head, and wanted to cause him to suffer painfully, or to die in the dirt where he belonged. He wanted to extract revenge, to kill the one who loved him, and hwho he loved back. But he found that he was in danger of being surronded, as the boy's allies had seen him go down. Instead he lowered the balster, and fled as far away from the Refugee sector as he could. He mourned for days for his lost love. Then he stopped mourning, and his gaze was hard, and cold.
Several years passed, and he did odd jobs for various organizations. He finally found his way off of Nar Shaddaa. He made his way (through various different ways) to Coruscant, where he often did jobs for various peoples, from delivery to debt collecting. He became, basically, a Mercenary. At all times, he carried the balster that had killed his love, wherever he went. He vowed that he would not fire it apon anyone other than the killer of Maria. Which brings us to the present. Josef has decided to travel around the galaxy, and find the killer, and ge his revenge. But yet, he feels that there is something missing in his Life. Like a higher calling, but he cannot work out what it is. He hopes to find whatever it is i his Journey.
