Can I just RP in any timeline I want?
No. While some galaxies allow this, TRF is a careful balance of storylines; we prefer to keep everything in a fashion that, were someone to wish to, all events on TRF could be recorded in a single, unified history. Some assert that by doing this we are "restricting creativity" or some other ridiculous statement. In our opinion, it takes must more creativity to create a cohesive, complete and unified universe than one with a variety of indiscrepancies wrought of people throwing in whatever they so please.
